# 65 Learning

I was privileged to be able to help with a workshop this past weekend on photography. Several of us volunteers presented three different classes to a mix of scouts, 4Hers and other interested kids. We are living in a time when technology, (especially in photography) is exploding! We no longer need to even think about 1 hour photos or buying film or shall I say it ...a DARKROOM!
 It was inspiring to see these kids so interested in the limited knowledge we was able to give them.
Learning should be a lifelong mission for all of us. Our opportunities to get information from so many places has never been better. I encourage you to expand your knowledge on a favorite subject of yours this week!

A wise man can learn more from a foolish question than a fool can learn from a wise answer.

Proverbs 9:9

Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be still wiser;
    teach a righteous man and he will increase in learning.

# 64 Reflect

I recently had a chance to visit with family and was reminded that even many weeks and months may separate us, our family still has a love for one another that continues. We all have our own quirky ways but somehow it seems to work.at least for a few days! I was always told that relatives and leftovers should be thrown out after 3 days. I always try and make my visits..short!

Love begins by taking care of the closest ones - the ones at home.

Psalm 25

7 Remember not the sins of my youth, or my transgressions;

    according to thy steadfast love remember me,
    for thy goodness’ sake, O Lord!

# 63 Freedon

4th of July weekend is a time to celebrate our freedom. Even with all the present turmoil we still live in the greatest nation on earth. I was pleased to celebrate a one year birthday party for my granddaughter and her cousin this weekend too. I guess God knew what he was doing when he gave us babies when we were young. There was a house full of kids 7 or 8, maybe 9 ( I lost count) all under 5 years old and they kept us ALL busy! It is always a blessing to me to be able to see all my own children in the same day. It reminds me that time marches on and we should grab on to every precious minute and enjoy it.
This picture was from the fireworks display in our neighborhood

Freedom prospers when religion is vibrant and the rule of law under God is acknowledged.

Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
