# 58 Prepare

I was privileged recently to be able to speak to a group of ladies at our church. As part of my preparation I used a little game that tricks your vision. It is a reminder to me, that we all like to tell ourselves we are smarter and more prepared than we really are.None of us knows the future. Yes, we should make provisions for our loved ones, but not at the expense of our faith, and giving. None of us are here forever. You will be in heaven (hopefully) for eternity. Prepare for it!

I don't know what the future holds, but I know who holds the future.
Billy Graham

John 14 “Let not your hearts be troubled; believe  in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many rooms; if it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And when I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also.

# 57 Moms!

When your mother calls your name, you know her voice.
When we were kids and mom called, you knew it!
There is a very special bond between a mother and her children and I am in no way going to try and explain it. I have been blessed to have had a great mother, a great wife and mother  to our children, and great daughter in-laws who are great mothers to our grandchildren.
Happy Mothers Day to all of you who are mothers.
God Bless You!

Proverbs 31
10 A wife of noble character who can find?
She is worth far more than rubies.
11 Her husband has full confidence in her
    and lacks nothing of value.
12 She brings him good, not harm,
all the days of her life.
13 She selects wool and flax
    and works with eager hands.

# 56 Be Quiet

I just got back from a few days in the mountains of Utah. Yes there is still plenty of snow in May!
I took the time to fish some, pray some, and get some photography work done.
Today so many of us are tethered to our phones and computers or other "technology" that we MUST break free and spend some quiet time and let the dust settle.

Psalm 46

Come, behold the works of the Lord,
how he has wrought desolations in the earth.
He makes wars cease to the end of the earth;
he breaks the bow, and shatters the spear,
he burns the chariots with fire!
10 Be still, and know that I am God.
I am exalted among the nations,
I am exalted in the earth!”
