# 46 Failure

What most people view as failure is really success!
As some of you know I have done some public speaking. I talk about staying positive in what you
 Say, Think and Do!
Many folks get down when they think they have failed at something.
One of the quotes I use in my speaking presentation, is from Thomas Edison and he said
"I have not failed, I have found 10,000 ways it won't work".
When we LEARN from our failures they are really just part of our education.
Zig Ziglar  said "Failure is an event not a person, yesterday really did end last night and today is a brand new day" As long as we have a tomorrow, we have the hope of a new day to try and do better.
I guess grandma had it right
If at first you don't succeed, try and try again!!

John Wooden

Hebrews 12
14 Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy;without holiness no one will see the Lord.
15 See to it that no one falls short of the grace of God and that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile many.

# 45 Success

I guess that we would all measure success in different ways.
Some would tie it to money, some to happiness, some to freedom to be or do what you want.
Where do you have your most success? With your family relationships? In business? With your hobbies?
I think a good balance of all three would count as a great success for me.
Life is a learning process, so in order to learn we must recognize the things we do right as well as the things we...could do better!

Success consists of going from failure to failure without loss of enthusiasm.
Winston Churchill

Proverbs 2
For the Lord gives wisdom;
from his mouth come knowledge and understanding.
He holds success in store for the upright,
he is a shield to those whose walk is blameless,
for he guards the course of the just
and protects the way of his faithful ones.

# 44 Time

Take your Time! Time flies!Time is of the essence! Killing Time! Time is short!
I have had people ask me "where do you find the time to keep up two blogs!"
and fish and hunt and take pictures and......
We make time for the things that are important to us. I have never watched ANY sitcoms on TV.
The weather, a short dose of news and sports (outdoor channel included) are all I really watch.
I tried to read more hours than I watched TV in the past six months. Guess what? I don't miss it a bit!
And you get all these great posts!

Ecclesiastes 3

A Time for Everything

There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under the heavens:
a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,
a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,
a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,
a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing,
a time to search and a time to give up,
a time to keep and a time to throw away,
a time to tear and a time to mend,
a time to be silent and a time to speak,
a time to love and a time to hate,
a time for war and a time for peace.

# 43 Computers

Computers....
They are a part of life now, but so many folks depend on them for everything. We carry them around in our pockets all day every day. They are our phones, social contact, driving directions, games, music, books, and cameras. On Jan 9 the iphone turned six years old. Whatever did we do before that! Now we have many companies  giving us choices we never dreamed of.
What is the longest you have been "without service" in the last year? Try taking a break. Maybe just take a walk with out the phone and see how it feels. I love Colorado.....do you know if you get up in the Rockies you may have to travel an hour to get back into cell service?? When can I go back!

Computers make it easier to do a lot of things, but most of the things they make it easier to do don't need to be done.

Proverbs 3:5
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;
